Wattney was born and raised in Ontario, Canada where she lives with her two children. After the success of her first self published book, Black Sheep, she launched an online platform called Poet Possibilities, with the mission to help other poets and writers become successful self-published authors.

Her latest collection, This is how you lost me , explores themes of infidelity, heartbreak and the strength to get through it all. 

When she isn’t writing or in her office, she is exploring forest trails, visiting local farms with her children, or having an in-depth conversation with someone about the spirit world.
